We have completed all first-half chess assessments for Mill Valley.
Most of the large class is still not quite ready for tournaments. Of those not ready, there are those who still have a ways to go, having just learned how the pieces move. Others are about halfway there, having learned basic principles but still giving away free pieces fairly frequently. Another group is VERY close to being ready for tournaments but just need a BIT more practice.
If there is any confusion about the assessments, any questions at all, if you would like another try, or if I missed your child after all the dust settled... let me know!!
